TEAM KMA RACING CLAIMS TWO TOP-TEN STARTING POSITIONS

Tooele, UT (May 17, 2007) - Team KMA Racing claims two top-ten starting positions with drivers Jeffrey Petriello (3rd) and Julia Landauer (9th). Barely misses getting all three cars in the top ten with driver Mike Hill starting 11th on the grid at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah.

"It's a nice way to start the season," claims Team co-owner and manager Ingo Strackerjan. "These kids have been working real hard in the pre-season and it shows. The field is pretty tight, so the first race is going to be interesting."

Jeffrey Petriello Car# 13, starting 3rd: "I'm very satisfied to start my first open-wheel race in 3rd position. The entire team worked extremely hard since the beginning of the weekend and I want to thank and congratulate all of them. To be able to represent my sponsors Cabo Wabo Cantina and Cinemas Guzzo with a top-three start makes it even more rewarding. The key to tomorrow's race will be to run consistent laps and not make a mistake, so I can't wait!"

Julia Landauer Car# 55, starting 9th: "I'm really excited about starting my first Formula BMW race in the top-ten. All the drivers are pretty close in times, so I'm glad to be starting on the inside and giving my sponsors Cabo Wabo Cantina and Brains Function Designs a good start to the season. It should be a good battle."

Mike Hill Car# 53, starting 11th: "It's been a hard working weekend for Team KMA Racing in the pits. I was a little disappointed, qualifying the #53 Cabo Wabo Cantina car in 11th, but we're all working hard and I know we'll find those few tenths of a second. I'm looking forward to the first race. With the field so close in times, starting mid-field and right behind my team-mate should call for a very exciting and competitive race."

The first two rounds of the Formula BMW USA Championship will be held on Friday, May 18th and Saturday May 19th. Qualifying for the second round will be held on the morning of the 18th.
