Facu Regalia returns to action
Facu Regalia will be next weekend at the Valencia Street Circuit for the Formula BMW Europe third round of the season, where he expects to be among the fastest, again.
The Spanish-Argentinean driver is looking forward to the races that will be held in the European Formula 1 Grand Prix, after the good results that he achieved at Zandvoort, where he climbed to the podium for the first time.
The Mediterranean circuit usually gives good results to Facu Regalia, as he explains "this track has been one of my favourites since I debuted in car racing. My team, Eifelland Racing, has been very strong in this circuit, something that gives me confidence that I'll have a car that allows me to keep the positive stream that started at Circuit de Catalunya and kept flowing at Zandvoort". In his previous visits to Valencia, the eighteen years old driver ended sixth twice and seventh once, though he fought for the podium in his rookie year.
Facu Regalia, who in the fifth position of the Formula BMW Europe championship standings, added: "in the last few weeks I worked hard to prepare myself physically and mentally, as it is very important to tackle which weekend in the best way possible. This season it's fundamental to be consistent in every race, because our goal is the championship". Just before his trip to Valencia the Spanish-Argentinean youngster said: "I would like to thank to all my fans that have been supporting me. They give the strength to fight and to proceed with my career".
The Formula BMW Europe program will return to its usual schedule at Valencia - the practice and the qualifying will be held at Friday and there will be a race at Saturday and another at Sunday, with fourteen laps each.
