Facu Regalia wants to recover at Hockenheim
Facu Regalia is in the fourth place of the Formula BMW Europe championship, but he is confident that he can recover in the four circuits left, where he hopes to be in podium in regular bases.
The Spanish-Argentinean youngster will be at Hockenheim this weekend, for the fifth event of the season, and he has high aspirations for the German races. The circuit placed near Baden-Wurttemberg is one of Facu Regalia favourites and he intends to fight for the podium places next weekend. "Hockenheim is a very interesting circuit and one of my favourites. In the tests we were among the fastest and we think we can keep this kind of performance. The track is very wide, something that will favour the overtaking moves. Though, we have to do a good qualifying", said the Eifelland Racing driver.
The weather can have a strong part in the weekend outcome, as it's expected rain at Friday and at Sunday. Something that the eighteen years old driver has in mind: "at Hockenheim we might have a strange weather, because we can have very hot sunny days or strong rains. We don't know what will happen, but I would like to have dry track during the weekend, because it's a good circuit for us and it would be important nothing changes our possibilities". Besides, Facu Regalia will have a visit from Argentina, his grand-father, who will be at Germany and at Hungary, something that will be "a dream come true and a very strong support".
After Silverstone, the Formula BMW Europe returns to its usual schedule at Hockenheim, with the practice and the qualifying at Friday and one race at Saturday (9.45) and another at Sunday (8.30).
