Facu Regalia starts season on high note

Facu Regalia was in great shape today at Circuit de Catalunya and will start tomorrow's race from the fourth place of the grid and from the third the Sunday's, showing that he will be a strong contender during this weekend.

The Spanish-Argentinean driver had a difficult pre-season with some mechanical problems and with weather difficulties that hidden his potential, but, this Friday, when it was needed he showed his true pace, and will start both races of this weekend from the second line of the grid.

Facu Regalia was on the pace as soon as he tackled the track, signing the third fastest time in the practice, showing himself as the fastest in two of the three Catalunya Circuit sectors, something that left him pleased: "the car is very good, but we can still improve it. The track was very green and for the qualifying it will rubber in, after the Formula 1 and GP2 practices".

The track conditions were different in the qualifying, but Facu Regalia continued to show his potential. After twenty-five minutes he signed the fourth fastest lap for the first race grid and the third for second's.

After the qualifying, with a smile in his face the Spanish-Argentinean driver said: "I'm very happy with this outcome, mainly because we had a hard preseason. Probably, the only downside was the fact of losing the second place for both races for less than a tenth, but, anyway, it's a positive result".

Facu Regalia will line-up for the first race tomorrow at 9.45 (Spanish time), and will have thirteen laps to fight for the best result in his reach.
