I want to thank BCN Competition for the opportunity to race with them at Silverstone. As a team, we continue to make gains and as I get more comfortable with the car we are starting to show the true potential of the car and the team.

This past weekend we made good progress in the overall pace of the car, but unfortunately I made a mistake in an attempted pass that hurt our result. However, I still need to continue to be aggressive in my driving and yet make fewer mistakes. I was very glad to have Mark Hynes as a teammate. He is a true champion and is an excellent asset to the team with his experience. I am totally impressed with the BCN Competition F3000 team's commitment and desire to win and they are constantly working hard to improve the car.

At the start of the race, I got too much wheelspin but was pleasantly surprised at the pace of the car and the opportunity to make some competitive passes. As for my off, Baumgartner got sideways out of a corner and I looked for the opportunity to pass. Unfortunately, I had one side of the car on the marbles and lost it under braking and just went through the gravel trap. I continued at speed through the gravel trap to ensure that I did not get stuck. After expending some time cleaning my tires up, I was on a relative pace with the leaders for the remainder of the race.

I think we made some gains this weekend and are in a good position for Hockenheim. I have won twice at Hockenheim in the Porsche Cup and look forward to being very competitive with the BCN Competition F3000 team at the new circuit. I want to thank everyone for their support to allow me to compete in International F3000 and I especially appreciate the hard work of the team and the lengths they have gone to make sure that all the available resources are utilized in this effort in furthering the development of the car.
