Day two of the test at Silverstone began much the same as day one with cold and overcast weather and a wet track. When the track became drier towards the end of the session Ricardo set the second fastest time of the session behind Sebastien Bourdais with Antonio just behind him with the third quickest time. The afternoon session was again the quicker of the two, but Antonio and Ricardo couldn't find the ultimate set-up to finish at the top of the time sheets. Antonio was ninth quickest and Ricardo thirteenth.

"We were 1.4 seconds behind and this is quite a lot. Unfortunately this is the last test before the first race and the balance of the car is still not right and the times proved that. Hopefully we can get something sorted for the race."

"We have now finished testing and must go to Brazil for the first race. After all of the tests, I think I was a little bit slow and I am a little bit disappointed about the times at all of the tests. I expected to be in a better position, but the race is completely different as you never know what configurations everyone else is using. There is a big improvement in the car and I believe that we still have a chance to win the first race. We need to take what we have learned from the last few tests into the race. You really don't know what pace we are on until we see what happens at the race."

"I think we made some progress today and for the first part of the afternoon we seemed to be reasonable on the pace but later on some other people found some extra speed and we had already used our new tyres by then but I think that it is true to say that we didn't hit the sweet spot here at Silverstone. However we do have some valuable data which should help us to find a better set-up. However Brazil is a completely different story to here and we will have to see if we can count on our experience from last year and apply it to the new car."
