The Nurburgring race was race number two for me and day four in an F3000 car. It was not the result that I was looking for, but we made improvements throughout the week-end and I feel confident for the next event at Magny-Cours. After stalling the car at the start I was on pace with the mid-pack runners and the improvements that the BCN Team did to the car for the race helped tremendously.

As the race wore on I got comfortable in the car. I have treated these races as testing and have made progress in each session. The changes planned for Magny-Cours are an additional step to make the car fit my driving style. Therefore, we should be more competitive at the Magny-Cours.

The BCN F3000 Team did an excellent job in car preparation and I continue to be impressed with the dedication and professionalism of the team and their intense desire to win. On a different note, I spotted Tommy Kendall in the paddock at the Nurburgring and believe F3000 could use his brand of sarcasm and humor.
