Raffaele Giammaria confirms himself as one of the frontrunners in the Italian Grand Prix of Formula 3000 too: the Italian driver in fact will start on Saturday from the eighth place with a time of 1.39.881.
"The time set by Raffaele is very close to the leaders' one, there are less than two tenths between Durango's driver and the fourth place, occupied by Patrick Friesacher.
"Raffaele looks forward to the race (start at 16.00), also thanks to Durango car, always capable of good performances.
"Things went good enough, but I could have done better: I think that the fourth place was in my reach. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding with my team and I couldn't exploit my new tyres.
"What a pity, but I'm sure that I will able to catch up in race: the single Durango is really good, even with worn out tyres. Above all I hope to make a good start, it will be very important."
