Coloni Motorsport dominates test at Jerez
Nico Rosberg once again was the absolute frontrunner of F.I.A. Formula 3000 International test at Jerez: the young Finnish took the first place of the third of day of test with an excellent time, 1.31.720, which gave to Nico not only the leadership of the 3-days test, but also the new track record.
The son of the former 1982 Formula 1 Championship Keke Rosberg supplied moreover also much useful information to Coloni's technicians for the development of the car in sight of the next season, adapting himself very quickly to the Lola B2/50 and to the track. The supremacy of Nico in the three days of test was constant from first day and also with race setup (on Thursday) the Coloni driver got a first class performance.
Good result also for the Austrian Norbert Siedler that concluded today in seventh position: the day 3 hasn't however to be considered, since the single-seater of Siedler complained problems to the fuel pump that prevented him from lapping at his best.
Coloni Motorsport will now back to work for the next test of F.I.A. F.3000 International.
