A satisfactive three-day test for Coloni at Hungaroring:
Zsolt Baumgartner (H)
The Coloni Motorsport completed a successful three-day test at Hungaroring (H) with its new driver Zsolt Baumgartner.
In dry weather Baumgartner was able to complete an intensive programme of development.
The lap times have been consistent and impressive was the progression that allowed the talented Hungarian driver to set the time of 1.25.89, that represent the new lap record of the Hungaroring for F.3000, more than 2 seconds quicker than the pole position scored in the last Grand Prix (1.28.120).
Also Tony Schmidt (D), Patrick Friesacher (A) and Enrico Toccacelo tested with the Team.
Paolo Coloni, Team principal Coloni F3000: "I am very satisfied with the work of the Team and with the impressive performance of the drivers we tested. The lap times scored are the clear device of the extremely good development done during these tree days and the high potential of the new Lola B02/50. I look forward to the Official F.I.A. F.3000 testing session of Imola (I).
