The title fight continues at Varano this weekend

29/08/2007 -- The Formula 3 Italian Championship is about to enter its final stages, which will be crucial for deciding the title winner and consequently for the GP2 test reserved to the future champion. The circuit Varano de' Melegari, near Parma, will house this weekend the sixth round of the season with two races that announces to be very tight.

The classification sees at the moment Mirko Bortolotti (Team Corbetta by Minardi) at the lead with 66 points, followed by Efisio Marchese standing at 64 and Paolo Maria Nocera at 55. With 60 points still to be assigned, the title fight is still open for Pablo Sanchez Lopez too (54 points), while Nicola De Marco and Fabrizio Crestani (49 points) seem to be a bit far away.
