A successful year ends for Italian Formula 3 Championship
A further confirmation comes from internet too: F3italia.it has been visited throughout the season by more than 36000 visitors (+31% increase from 2008), the 42% of which coming from outside Italy and read the site in its English version.
The next championship, which will start on 25 April at Misano Adriatico, announces to be even more thrilling: the calendar will take drivers to race outside Italian boundaries on prestigious tracks, with a starting grid that is destined to go beyond the 20 single seaters.
The money prize has been confirmed to 226000 while the duel Dallara-Mygale will propose an interesting challenge from a technical viewpoint.
A 2009 full of success is about to finish for Italian Formula 3 Championship. The season has been good, fought and saw six different drivers on the top place of the podium before awarding the title at the last race.
The average number of single seater entered in the eight rounds was 17.1 units, with a solid increment of 23.9% compared to 2009, which saw an average of 13.8 drivers per race. Solid increase in teams' interest as well that went from 6 to 10 in one year (+66.6%) and the number is to increase again in 2010. Teams will be united in the teams association that will work in synergy with ACI-CSAI to the continuous improvement of the championship.
