Three weeks after the double podium of Crestani-Bortolotti at Mugello, the Minardi by Corbetta Competizioni is ruler again on the Tuscan track, with a double pole of Mirko Bortolotti, the first ever of his F.3 career.

Behind Bortolotti, Pablo Sanchez Lopez (Alan Racing) and Paolo Maria Nocera (Lucidi Motors) that will swap their position for race two. With the two points earned in qualifying, Bortolotti gets the lead of the classification together with Efisio Marchese (Europa Corse) at 54 points, whereas four more drivers are standing within 8 points: the title battle will be very tight.
