Looking forward to Magione

7th June 2006 - On Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th the third event of the F3 Italian Championship will take place at Magione Circuit, in the Umbria district. The races will recover the cancelled ones scheduled at the beginning of the season at Monza.

The qualifying session will take place on Saturday from 14.40 until 15.25. On Sunday race one will start at 11.20 and race rwo at 16.50. This race will see the debout of a new regulations in qualifyings, with a first session of 30 minutes with all the cars on the track, and then a 10-minutes session for the twelve best drivers that will fight for the pole. The best lap time of each driver will be valid for the race one grid, as the second performance for the race two grid.

Michele Rugolo (Ghinzani) is now at the top of the Championship with 31 points, followed by Massironi (30) and Frassineti (29).

"There are four drivers in four points at the top of the standings: it will be a hard fight until the end of the championship. I am sure that our package will be very competitive: the car has always been fast and Frassineti has proved to be competitive. We'll try to get as many points as possible: our target is the first position in the championship".
