BORTOLOTTI WINS, NAVA AND CASTELLACCI ON THE PODIUM

Another victory (the seventh in a row) for Mirko Bortolotti at Misano Adriatico in race one of the sixth round of the Formula 3 Italian Championship. The driver from Trento, also author of the fastest lap of the race, concluded third in the second manche, held on extreme wet conditions.

During the weekend the two other drivers of the team got on the podium too: Francesco Castellacci finished third in race one, same result for Giovanni Nava in race two.

With four races still to be run, Bortolotti is firmly on top of the classification with 110 points, 16 clear of his direct rival for the title: Edoardo Piscopo (Team Ghinzani). Nava and Castellacci, both standing at 43 points are at the fourth and fifth place respectively.

Gabriele Lucidi (Lucidi Motors, Team Manager):

"Bortolotti run today an intelligent race, harvesting some very useful points without taking too many risks. I am satisfied by Nava also, he concluded close to the podium after the technical problems that yesterday prevented him to finish race one. What a shame for Castellacci, victim of aquaplaning, but the third place obtained yesterday saves his weekend."
