Swedish F-Renault champion goes F3 with Performance Powered by Volkswagen
Felix Rosenqvist the 18-year-old Swedish F-Renault champion and winner of the prestigious Rydell Special Award have today signed to Performance Racing to compete in the German Formula 3 series.

The 2010 German Formula 3 series will be extremely competitive since many young Formula 1 hopefuls has elected to drive in the series and both the German car giants Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz are represented with their sophisticated Formula 3 engines as well as support to teams and drivers. The organizers, suppliers and teams in the German F3 series have over the years cooperated well to find an almost perfect balance between competition, technical development and budget requirements.
Bobby Issazadhe, Team Principal - "This was a perfect 10 year anniversary present for our team! In 2010 Performance Racing is doing it's 10th consecutive year in F3 and at last we have a Swedish Driver. For this season we have a young team in Felix and the Asian Formula Renault Champion Alon Day, but we are confident that both our two rookies have what it takes to win races and ultimately championships. They are both proven winners and now it's our job to make sure they can win again in Formula 3"
The 2010 season kicks off with a test on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit the 12th of March and the first race take place at Oschersleben the 11th of April.
