Juncadella previously contested the Macau GP on three occasions with Prema Powerteam, crashing out early on in 2010 and 2012, but winning the 2011 race in-between, going from sixth on the grid to the lead as he passed Felipe Nasr and Marco Wittmann for victory.
After winning the F3 Euro Series in 2012, he became a Mercedes driver in the DTM, with two fourth-place finishes currently standing as his personal best results in the series.
Since Juncadella will need to do an F3 race in 2015 to qualify for Macau GP, the Spaniard will take part in the Euroformula Open season finale at Barcelona two weeks before the event.
The provisional Macau GP entry list had previously featured a three-car line-up for British squad Fortec, made up of local driver Andy Chang, Hongwei Cao and Pietro Fittipaldi - and it's the latter who'll be replaced by Juncadella.
Alex Lynn and Pipo Derani represented the Northamptonshire-based team on the Macau GP podium in 2012 and 2013, but the squad's highest-placed driver Santino Ferrucci was only as high as eighth last year.
