2002 New South Wales Formula 2 Championship.

BAE racing has signed 31 year old Brendon Cook for the first round of the State Series. Regular driver Robin Bishop has retired from the sport and Cook has been bought in to fill the hole. The deal is for one race but team Principal Tom Brickley is confident that a deal can be reached for the remainder of the season. Cook will be driving the ex George Parkinson and John Wise Cheetah MK 7 powered by a Golf 1600 engine. Support comes from www.grog2go.com, Porters Cammeray and 2NSB 99.3 radio station.
