Winkelhock in the first row of Race 2

Markus Winkelhock conquers the first row on Race 2 grid thanks to the pole position that he snatched in the second session of qualifying ( even- numbered group).

Very busy day for Draco Multiracing USA Team and its drivers Markus Winkelhock and Christian Montanari, who were engaged in two sessions of qualifying under the Spanish scorching sun. In the same way of Monaco, in order to avoid too many cars on track, the drivers were split into two groups (even and odd numbers), so, the drivers of each series are alternated on the starting grid.

In the first session of qualifying, German Markus Winkelhock (even-numbered group) carried out the best fourth lap, so, he will start from the fourth row in Race 1. The 25-years-old driver improved in the second session, when he obtained the pole position of the even-numbered group: a very good result with which he takes the second front row position on the Race 2 grid.

Christian Montanari (odd-numbered group) set the best tenth lap, and will line-up on the tenth row in Race 1. As his team-mate, S.Marino's driver bettered his time in the second session, when he grabbed the fifth quickest time gaining the ninth position on the starting grid of Race 2.
