Barcelona, February 2002 The Frenchman Stèphane Sarrazin has reached an agreement with the Spanish Team Garbord for the 2002 FIA SERIES DALLARA NISSAN V6 .
Gabord, the Spanish-based team, is in property of two Dallara Nissan V6 3000, and it will make its debut in the Single Seater competition, although it has one of the most technological facilities near by Barcelona. The Second driver has not been confirmed yet, although they are said to be in talks with the 23-year-old driver Esteban Tuero.
In 1998, Sarrazin made an outstanding debut in Formula One, replacing Luca Badoer in the Minardi Team. He was 17th in Qualifying and he was 11th when he retired (GP Brazil).
Stephane Sarrazin started his career in Go-Karts, where he was two times the French Champion in Junior and National Category. In 1994, he won the French Formula Renault with La Filière, and in 1997 he was vice-champion of the F3 French Championship.
Since 1998, he has been the third driver for the Prost Grand Prix Formula One Team.
Stèphane Sarrazin is the 4th confirmed driver of this spectacular FIA Series, boosted by a Nissan 415 HP engine derived from the Nissan Maxima. Also confirmed are Antonio García (Adrian Campos Motorsport), Ander Vilariño (Racing Engineering), and Luciano Gomide (Venturini Racing).
