Facu Regalia will return to racing in the Formula Renault 3.5 series after securing a deal with Zeta Corse.
The Argentine racer competed with Hilmer Motorsport in the first four rounds of the GP2 series last year before leaving the team after struggling with poor results.
Regalia did not race anywhere else after but, but has now announced he will make his FR3.5 debut when the championship begins in April.
"Following seven months of intense work I can confirm my participation in the World Series by Renault," said the 2013 GP3 runner-up.
"It is another season racing in Europe and joining such a fantastic F1 feeder series with Zeta Corse, runner-up last year. It is an opportunity we must do everything in our power to seize.
"This is a completely new experience for me, so I need to make the most of pre-season tests. 2015 is going to be a very important year for me, surely a crucial one."
Regalia, 23, will travel to Zeta Corse's headquarters in Valencia next week to begin his preparations for the first collective test at Jerez on 5-6 March.
