F3000 champion Justin Wilson fast in testing.

Racing Engineering added two more test days in Albacete to the collective test weekend, where Franck Montagny was already first in all three training sessions. In Albacete Justin Wilson finished his test drive with an amazing best lap time of 1,18.507. In his first outing in Albacete, Zonta in his fastest lap reached 1,17.8. Justin Wilson now holds the track record at Albacete!

Racing Engineering wants its drivers Franck Montagny and Justin Wilson to feel as familiar with the car and the team as soon as possible to prove to be the proper package for the upcoming season. Therefore Racing Engineering decided to add three more test days to the collective test weekend in Valencia.

In Albacete Justin Wilson gave an amazing impression of what will be shown to the spectators during this season.

The conditions on the track were not the best for such a tremendous performance. Due to a truck race taking place in Albacete last weekend, the track was very dirty and oily. What makes Justin's lap times also so outstanding is the fact that it has been warmer.

Team manager Alfonso de Orleans at the end of this test day said, "I am absolutely amazed by Justin. Every time he goes out in the car, he impresses me by his talent. He is so good at understanding the car and trying to make the best possible setup in so few laps. He has already integrated himself perfectly into the team and is able to work with both, the mechanics and the engineers with great ease. Justin, the current F3000 champion, is going to be one of the main contenders of this year's Super Nissan Championship."
