Christian Montanari conquers a resounding success

The driver Christian Montanari of Draco Multiracing USA achieved a masterly success in the city circuit of Montecarlo: a fantastic victory, thanks to a race in which S.Marino's driver dominated from start to finish. Christian Montanari, who started in pole, on lap 8 had 4 seconds' lead over the opponents. Then, the Safety car was called out onto the circuit because of an accident, but the Draco driver made a perfect restart taking 2 seconds in a lap and keeping the leadership to the finishing line.

German driver Markus Winkelhock had an off-day: after the start from the fifth row, at the first corner an opponent bumped into his car forcing him to withdraw. He felt disappointed, as during this week-end Winkelhock (fastest driver in the free-practices, protagonist in the qualifying even-numbered session) set very fast laps and he found a good feeling with his FR3.5 car and the circuit.

Mrs Nadia Morini, Draco Team Manager: "To say that I'm happy is not enough, to win in Montecarlo means entering in the motorsport history, it's a very joyful moment for us."

Mr Adriano Morini, Draco Team Owner: "I think this result doesn't need any comment."

Christian Montanari, Draco Driver : "I thank all my Team, the car was perfect and the hard work returned us the best result. This race has been incredible, my first time in Montecarlo will remain an unforgettable memory, a unique experience. I kept the leadership during all the 25 laps, I'm very happy."
