A POSITIVE WEEKEND IN HUNGARY

Budapest, Hungary -- 6 July 2008: James Walker finished today's World Series by Renault race in tenth place after another hot day of racing at the Hungaroring.

James' seventh place in yesterday's race earned him a 12th place grid position for today. The Jersey racer made a good start, this time going for the inside at turn one. His strategy was to pit early in order to look after his tyres and he actually jumped two cars during the pit-stops so it was a good decision all round.

In the closing stages of the race James was up to 11th but then Van der Garde made a mistake, lifting James up into the top ten. It was a very hot day and James did well to post consistent lap times, each one within half a second of the one before, throughout the race.

"Overall I am happy with the weekend's results although I was disappointed to just miss out on Superpole," said James. "I love racing this car so I hope I can get a better result next time out. I outscored my team-mate though so that's pretty positive."

The next round of the World Series by Renault takes place at the Nurburgring in Germany at the end of August.
