JC Ravier Quickest in Estoril
Adrian Valles second fastest

Estoril, 16 September de 2004 - JC Ravier has clocked the best lap time in Estoril during the World Series by Nissan Collective Test day.

The Frenchman has been followed by a determined Adrian Valles (Pons Racing), which has been second by only 0.238 seconds.

Juan Cruz Alvarez was the third quickest driver of the day, and the Chilean Pablo Donoso finished in top 5, so it was a positive day for all the latin American community.

It has been a nice and sunny day in Portugal but nobody could beat the time registered during a private test held last week by Kovalainen, the Series leader, Monteiro, or Bernoldi. (Best timed lap, Kovalainen, 1.28.1)

Ander Vilariño's return into World Series was quite good. The Basque driver was only 0.456 seconds behind Ravier, replacing Bernoldi in GD Racing. Meanwhile, the Brazilian has faced his first day of test in Silverstone with BAR.

Tiago Monteiro (Carlin Motorsport), which is third in the provisional standings, lap in a discrete 1.29.502, equal as Didier Andre (KTR). The KTR driver has found a good balance in the car. Nevertheless, Monteiro is set to be the great local hero during this Portuguese match--

The Dallara Lights were only three seconds slower than the Dallara Nissan cars.

The World Series Light Collective Test has been dominated by the quick Celso Miguez (1.32.258). The Algerian driver Nassim Sidi Said has made his debut in the Dallara WSl3 Epsilon Sport car.

The Yug driver Milos Pavlovic is facing a new meeting as a leader. He and Pellegrino, both in Vergani Formula, were the only drivers keeping the same pace of the Spaniard, below 1.33
