According to the Brembo engineers, the hardest braking point on the Istanbul Park circuit comes just before the start/finish line. The drivers decelerate by 225km/h. 2,197 kilowatts of energy get released in the process, enough to power around 10,000 LCD TVs. And it’s with 132kg that they have to push on the brake.
