In its first F1 season, 1967, the new Ford DFV engine won four races: Holland, Great Britain, USA at Watkins Glen, and Mexico; all wins were by Jim Clark in a Lotus 49. Jim Clark won six pole positions with the new Ford DFV engine in its nine races of 1967; his teammate, Graham Hill, won the other three, including the first race in Holland
