BSA and Minardi created history in China by running their F1x2 Formula cars in the Goldenport circuit in Beijing, China today when one BSA coloured F1x2 and a Go-KL F1x2 entertained the Chinese media by giving 12 media passengers the rides of their lives.

BSA's Executive Chairman, Dato Cam Soh, puts himself in the record books by being the first passenger to ever do a hot lap in a Formula 1 car on Chinese soil was chauffeured by Malaysian F1 driver Alex Yoong. Yoong will be a BSA Alloy Wheels sponsored driver for his 2003 CART campaign.

Yoong who is of Chinese descent has attracted tremendous media attention in Beijing since he arrived in Beijing earlier this week. "I am very happy to be back in China since my last visit here 5 years ago. I am grateful to the many Chinese fans and media whose enthusiasm is simply overwhelming. This trip has also enables me to meet various potential sponsors for my 2003 CART campaign." said Yoong.

Tomorrow (Sunday) will see another 30 VIP and media passengers take their once in a live time chance when the programme continues.
