The BMW WilliamsF1 Team concluded a four day test at the Silverstone circuit in Britain today, conducted by official test and reserve driver Marc Gené, using an interim FW23C chassis.

The first day tyre tests were conducted while the second and third days were committed to running race simulations for engine development components. The test was extended this morning for practice starts.

Tim Newton (Test Team Manager - WilliamsF1)
"A good test. We completed two race simulations, to trial engine developments, without any problems. We also extended the test this morning to conduct practice starts plus do some work for Michelin."
