The BMW WilliamsF1 Team announced today that they have re-signed Marc Gené as their test and reserve driver for the 2003 season.

The Spaniard joined the team in 2001 and since then he has contributed enormously to the development of the team's cars carrying out a considerable amount of work together with partners BMW and Michelin.

Frank Williams, Team Principal and Managing Director, WilliamsF1 said, "I am delighted to have Marc working with us for another season. He is a tireless worker who is well attuned with the way we operate. The job that he has done so far for our team has contributed significantly to our performance on track and Marc's continued support will be necessary if we are to fulfill our aspirations to return to a winning position."
