On the second day of testing at Jerez de la Frontera, BMW WilliamsF1 Team test driver Antonio Pizzonia continued to set the pace. Conditions on the second day of testing at Jerez were ideal, with blue skies and temperatures reaching a balmy 27 degrees C.

Once again, Antonio Pizzonia was the BMW WilliamsF1 Team's sole representative, as it continued its preparations for the 2004 Formula One World Champion season finale in Brazil on October 24.

Antonio carried out furthers tests on the brakes in addition to performing systems checks and completing tyre evaluations with Michelin.

The Brazilian completed 105 laps without encountering any problems, and posted a best time of, 1:16.478, almost a second quicker than his nearest rival. Antonio will complete the team's testing programme tomorrow.

Tim Newton (Test Team Manager, WilliamsF1):

"On our second day at Jerez we picked up where we left off yesterday, carrying out further tests on the brakes and performing systems checks as well completing some tyre evaluations with Michelin. Antonio completed an impressive 105 laps and again set the quickest time of the day with a 1:16.478."
