Travelex joins Panasonic Toyota Racing for Grand Prix debut

As it gears up for its first Grand Prix, the Panasonic Toyota Racing team has signed a sponsorship agreement with global foreign exchange specialist Travelex.

Travelex, well known as the world's largest operator of currency exchange bureaux in airports, is also the world's largest non-bank global payments provider. Travelex will be assisting the Toyota F1 team in managing its global currency payments as part of the deal.

Toyota and Travelex will also be discussing opportunities for Travelex to provide services to other Toyota group companies globally.

The Travelex Group has offices in over 35 countries and corporate relationships in 97 countries spanning the globe, serving over 29,000,000 retail and 14,000 corporate customers each year.

As a result of this new agreement, Panasonic Toyota Racing will display the Travelex logo on its TF102 car. The logo appeared on the TF102 for the first time during the opening practice sessions of the team's first Grand Prix weekend in Australia today.
