Paul Ricard Test Report 5-8 February 2002

Driver: Mika Salo (all four days)

Track length: 5.875km

Total distance completed: 957km

Weather conditions:
Windy conditions in the early part of the week died down as the test progressed. The track remained dry for the majority of the session with warm and sunny conditions prevailing on Thursday and Friday.

Mika Salo:
"This has been a nice test. Some new aerodynamic parts arrived, which improved the car and gave us more downforce. We have generally had no major problems and I am happy with what we have achieved."

Testing at its home circuit of Paul Ricard gave Panasonic Toyota Racing the opportunity to gather film material for future marketing purposes. The team will return to Paul Ricard next week with Mika Salo in action on 15 February. Allan McNish will round up the final pre-season test session on 16 and 17 February.
