Mark Webber has been the subject of much speculation recently and at a press conference in Sydney today he revealed that three teams are a possibility for next year. Closely linked with Jaguar in the past few days, Webber remained quiet about which teams are the interested parties.

"I'm not in a position to say what teams we're in discussions with but there are at least three teams for which I can potentially drive next year," he said. It seems unlikely that Webber will remain at Minardi but he said he had learned a lot with the team: "I'm a competitive person at the end of the day. What I've learnt at Minardi this year has been fantastic and if they have a stronger package next year, you never know."

The Australian also hinted that struggling team mate Alex Yoong could be replaced for the next race in Hungary: "I feel that he's (Yoong) a little bit out of his depth, and I won't be surprised if he doesn't do the next race," he said. "But I also won't be surprised if he is there. Paul's been very, very patient with him and the team has as well. This is the pinnacle and F1 is about survival of the fittest."

Minardi boss Paul Stoddart recently said he wouldn't stand in Webber's way if he wanted to leave the team but would be sad if he decided to move on. Stoddart thinks Minardi will have to have a good technical package and no financial problems to keep hold of Webber.
