Toyota pays entry fee

Toyota have lodged their US$45m deposit with the FIA for the 2001 season - - a year earlier than expected. The Japanese giant has decided to come in in 2001 due to the interest in the final spot. If the concern had waited, there was a possibility of not being able to enter without buying out an existing team.
