Team Sauber Petronas finished its four-day test at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo today. Heinz-Harald Frentzen took over the driving today and covered 101 laps in chassis 05 at a shortened track of 3.090 km to set a best time of 1:08.626.

Rémi Decorzent (Race Engineer):

"Today we have conducted a wet tyre test together with Bridgestone to find the best possible tyre composition. Another purpose of the test today was the finding of how to make tyres faster when the track is drying up."

"Bridgestone decided to shorten the track length to 3.090 km in order to be able to run more laps under controlled conditions, and consequently to gather more valuable data. I think we have done a good job today, but now it must await analysis."
