Felipe Massa continued Team Sauber Petronas' three-day test in Valencia, Spain, today. In the course of 77 laps he set the second best time of 1m 11.635s while conducting tests in preparation for the Austrian and Monaco Grands Prix. Nick Heidfeld will take over tomorrow, for the final process of evaluation of data gathered today and yesterday.

Jacky Eeckelaert (Head of Vehicle Engineering):

"Today we completed our baseline aerodynamic testing as part of our preparation for the Monaco GP, and made several starts while honing our launch control system. Felipe was also able to carry out an intensive test for Bridgestone, using several different compounds as we worked to improve traction out of slow corners. We are very satisfied with the amount of work we were able to do today, and with the results."

Felipe Massa:

"I had another very good day today, with no problems at all. The car was running very well and we were able to try a number of configurations including different qualifying set-ups and also a lot of tyre work. We tried new tyres from Bridgestone that will be available to us in Austria."
