Team Sauber Petronas completed its fourth day test in Monza, in preparation for next week's Italian Grand Prix. We tried a number of aerodynamic configurations as well as carrying out brake development work. Felipe Massa set the sixth quickest time of 1m.23.668s and completed 43 laps. Once again he used the HANS, (Head and Neck Support) safety collar.

Jacky Eeckelaert (Head of Vehicle Engineering):

"This morning the track was still wet for the first hour following overnight rain. By the second hour, we were able to run grooved dry-weather Bridgestone tires and to recommence our aerodynamic program. Today we ran the car in the optimum aerodynamic configuration, which we arrived at after intensive assessment last night of all the different set-ups we have tried during this four-days test. We are happy with the way the car ran today and are satisfied with the results of our test."

Felipe Massa:

"The car felt really good today. I feel confident that we have developed a really good set-up for the race next weekend, which I am really looking forward to."
