Heavy fog has forced repeated delays to the start of the Saturday morning practice at the Belgian Grand Prix.

The first qualifying session was scheduled to start at 09:00 CET, but has now been delayed seven times as the officials wait for the fog to clear sufficiently around the Spa-Francorchamps circuit to ensure driver safety.

Just before 11:00, the stewards and the teams agreed to limit morning practice to a single session, and to start that 45-minute session at 11:00 CET.

This will, however, leave a gap of only lttle over one hour for the teams to prepare their cars for qualifying after the practice session, putting extra pressure on the engineers and mechanics.
