Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton drive two historic Silver Arrows on the Nürburgring Nordschleife

On Thursday 4th July, the team warmed up for its home race in Germany by sending its two drivers out on a lap of the Nordschleife at the Nürburgring in two historic Silver Arrows - Nico in a Type W 196 and Lewis in a Type W 154. Juan Manuel Fangio (1954) and Richard Seaman (1938) respectively drove the same models to victory at the Nürburgring.

The legendary Nordschleife has frequently played a major role in the history of the Silver Arrows, from the debut victory for Manfred von Brauchitsch driving a W 25 in 1934 to the win for Juan Manuel Fangio in 1954 at the wheel of the W 196.
