Ricciardo retires from Brazilian GP

An apparent suspension failure has ended Daniel Ricciardo's day.

Daniel Ricciardo has exited the Brazilian GP with roughly 30 laps remaining. It ends a streak of 15 straight races without a DNF. In each of those 15, he also scored points every time. He failed to finish the second round of the season at Sepang, but has placed eighth or higher in all events since.

His Red Bull is the first retirement from the race, meaning he will finish 18th. Ricciardo came into this event with a 59 point advantage over Valtteri Bottas in the championship standings.
