A successful day to round off testing for the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team in Valencia in spite of difficult weather conditions. On a wet circuit, Jarno Trulli and Fernando Alonso completed significant mileage as part of a programme which included control system development, testing engine modifications and general set-up work.

Jarno Trulli clocked the fastest time on the final day of testing to conclude a week in which the team has made constant progress.

"A good day to complete our testing," said Mild Seven Renault F1 Team Technical Director Mike Gascoyne. "Jarno worked well, which his lap time shows, while Fernando ran very competitively during the afternoon. Overall, our work in Valencia has been extremely productive, and we have reason to be optimistic for Austria."

The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team will next be in action on Friday, 10 May, for the first Free Practice session of the Austrian Grand Prix.
