On the evening of Wednesday, 10 March, in Paris, Renault F1 Team Deputy Managing Director Bernard Dudot officially signed an extension of the Renault F1 Team's relationship with Altran, the European leader in innovation consulting.

In the context of their relationship with the Renault F1 Team, Altran scientists and technical experts work in close collaboration with the engine team at Viry-Châtillon south of Paris in key areas of the F1 project.

"We are delighted with our relationship with Altran," commented Managing Director Flavio Briatore. "They have played an important role in our progress in recent seasons, and we look forward to their continuing to do so in the future."

Deputy Managing Director Bernard Dudot added: "Over the last two years, our work with Altran has brought real benefits and allowed us to learn a large amount. Altran give us access to expertise in extremely specialized areas that we do not possess within the company, and which are crucial for the development of our F1 engines to the standard required today."

A technical conference on the collaboration between the Renault F1 Team and Altran, with the presence of Bernard Dudot and Michel Friedlander, CEO of Altran, will be held at the Atelier Renault in Paris on Friday, 19 March.
