Red Bull is the sixth team to set a date for the launch of its 2008 challenger and the Adrian Newey-designed RB4 will break cover at Jerez testing on January 16th. The team continues with race drivers David Coulthard and Mark Webber and improving reliability is the focus of the design and development departments.

It was not an uncommon sight to see a Red Bull parked by the side of the race track in 2007 but despite the problems the Milton Keynes based squad managed to finish fifth in the constructors' standings, ahead of the likes of Toyota and Honda and less than 10 points behind Williams.

Webber ascended to the podium with third place at the Nurburgring and picked up two other points' finishes during the season. Coulthard managed to score four times and his best result was fourth at Fuji. Red Bull has yet to officially confirm a third driver for 2008.
