The votes have been cast and counted. A total of 170 people voted, and the collected votes are shown below.

A total point score showing the balance of "pro" and "anti" each section are also shown for interest. The Prix d'Orange and Prix de Citron awards are as follows

Teams ~~~~~ Orange Citron Total Williams 84 18 66 Ferrari 55 15 40 Ligier 5 0 5 McLaren 13 10 3 Minardi 1 3 -2 None Worthy 3 7 -4 Arrows 3 9 -6 Tyrrell 0 8 -8 Sauber 1 11 -10 Forti 1 16 -15 Jordan 0 25 -25 Benetton 4 48 -44

This means that the Prix d'Orange goes to Williams and the Prix de Citron to Benetton. The total votes gives an indication of the balance of the voting which shows a similar balance.

Races ~~~~~ Orange Citron Total Belgium 26 3 23 Portugal 25 8 17 European 13 0 13 Monaco 40 31 9 Australia 11 3 8 Spain 12 8 4 Brazil 5 2 3 Argentina 2 4 -2 San Marino 0 2 -2 Japan 14 17 -3 Germany 4 8 -4 Canada 1 7 -6 Italy 13 20 -7 Hungary 2 11 -9 Britain 0 10 -10 France 0 15 -15 Non Worthy 2 21 -19

OK, this is a rather bizarre one this as the Prix d'Orange and the Prix de Citron *both* go to the Monaco Grand Prix. This is contrast to the overall voting with Belgium getting the balance most right.

Drivers ~~~~~~~ Orange Citron Total Villeneuve 73 2 71 Schumacher 30 10 20 Hill 37 20 17 Hakkinen 9 4 5 Panis 7 2 5 Badoer 0 1 -1 Brundle 0 1 -1 Salo 0 1 -1 Diniz 2 4 -2 Herbert 0 2 -2 Katayama 0 2 -2 Lamy 0 2 -2 Berger 4 7 -3 Irvine 3 8 -5 Rosset 0 6 -6 None worthy 0 7 -7 Coulthard 0 12 -12 Frenzen 0 12 -12 Lavaggi 0 13 -13 Verstappen 3 17 -14 Alesi 2 19 -17 Barrichello 0 18 -18

The Prix d'Orange for the drivers goes to Villeneuve, the Prix de Citron goes to the World Champion Damon Hill...... The balance of voting shows a different picture with Barrichello, Alesi and Verstappen coming in for the brunt.
