Sergio Perez has denied his Force India team has been "showboating" during F1 testing at Barcelona this week.
The Silverstone-based squad has been among the fastest runners in the first three days of pre-season testing so far, with Perez finishing third on Tuesday and teammate Nico Hulkenberg setting the pace on Wednesday.
The Mexican driver insists Force India's page is genuine, denying claims that its runs have been aimed at achieving headline times.
When asked whether the new VJM09 was running very light on fuel, Perez said: "No, no, we didn't do anything like that.
"Our times were fair and square. Of course that makes it really difficult to say where we stand, so all I can say is that we are heading in the right direction.
Perez and Hulkenberg have tested one day each this week, while development driver Alfonso Celis has driven on Monday and Thursday.
