Juan Pablo Montoya is looking forward to the Brazilian Grand Prix this coming weekend after enjoying overtaking Michael Schumacher to lead the race last year. Unfortunately his almost certain victory was denied him by Jos Verstappen hitting him from behind and taking him out but Montoya was still pleased with the race.

"I was surprised when he (Verstappen) hit me but I was quite happy with the race," he said. "I passed Michael, I pulled away from him. What else can you ask from the beginning of the year? We'll see what happens this year, it could be quite interesting. I'm really looking forward to it."

The Colombian considers the race in Brazil one of his 'home' races, along with the American GP, as there are a lot of his compatriots present: "Two races, Brazil and the United States, are like my two home races," Montoya commented. "The Latin temperament is a bit out of control (in Brazil). That's why it's quite good fun. You get a lot of Colombians there. I enjoyed driving there last year a lot."

The Brazilian GP is home to Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa and Enrique Bernoldi: unfortunately Ferrari's Barrichello has a poor record as he has failed to finish the last seven Brazilian races in a row. 20 year old Sauber driver Massa will make his Brazilian debut this weekend and it will be Bernoldi's second appearance at the Interlagos circuit for Arrows.
