ESTORIL, Portugal, February 14, 1996 - Rainy weather contin- ued to plague Formula One testing here as Minardi became the latest team to unveil a new car. In damp conditions during the morning session, Pedro Lamy completed eight laps of the 4.360-kilometre, Lisbon-area track at the wheel of the M195B. The car was equipped with the 1995 Ford engine and his best time was 1:26.92. Other morning times included a 1:25.27 by Alain Prost in a McLaren-Mercedes, Martin Brundle in the Jordan-Peugeot had a best time of 1:39.09 and Jean Alesi, driving a Benetton-Renault posted a top time of 1:42.76. He was limited to only two laps.
