Mika Hakkinen is now in Europe, at the Saint Roch Hospital in Nice, France (he traveled last Friday). This is the same hospital in which Wendlinger was after his accident at Monaco. He is expected to be there for one month.
Hakkinen said that he wants to get into shape quickly but he can't, for the moment, make big efforts, because he gets strong headaches when he does that.
He is also a little worried about the possibility of having another similar accident. That is, he may have psychological problems racing again. He will probably be happy to know that the 1996 F1 cars will have airbags.
