Both MF1 cars have been disqualified from the German Grand Prix after stewards judged that the rear wings were illegally flexible. Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro finished 13th and 14th at Hockenheim but have now been excluded from the results.

In post race scrutineering the lower elements of the rear wings were declared to be "excessively flexible". Stewards ruled that it was a breach of regulations relating to bodywork "in particular article 3.15 which requires parts of the car that influence its aerodynamic performance to be rigidly secured to and remain immobile in relation to the sprung part of the car."

No other cars were affected by the ruling as Albers and Monteiro were the last to finish. MF1 has the right to appeal the decision.
